Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to purchase a robot vacuum, now's your chance. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.
The design is also superior to the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that looks like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in its place rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
Although it's not as sophisticated as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to know if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance and even the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more luxurious features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls, which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place it is done without difficulty. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. The majority of other robots require this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
self cleaning vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a robot vacuum that does everything.
However, if you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many other great choices available with a wide range of eufy models that cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive, but offers many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.
4. Eufy RoboVac g30
eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's easy to setup, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect it to Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and enough space for it to move but.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise It can be tucked away under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
The primary feature that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It can remember the things it has cleaned and where it cannot access. When it needs to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it began.
The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundary strips to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
